Motorola Z6w

The Motorola Z6w is a Wi-Fi compatible mobile phone which comes with many useful & entertainment features just waiting to be explored by its user. This amazing looking phone comes with a slide opening mechanism which slides open with a smooth action to reveal a clear keypad which is user friendly. The user can access their phones features when the handset is in its slide closed position as the Z6w comes with an external navigation control, call keys & feature keys. The casing comes in a black & metal effect coloured casing which oozes sophistication & is incredibly stylish to look at as well as feeling good to hold in the user's single hand. The casing weighs 110 grams which gives the mobile phone a solid feel & it is 105mm tall, 45mm wide by 17.3mm when in its slide closed position. This slide opening phone is a member of the Motorola Z range & has a similar shape & design as the Motorola ROKR Z6 & the Motorola RIZR Z3 which are both highly attractive mobile handsets.

The Motorola Z6w works on a Linux operating system & supports high speed technologies. The user can use the Wi-Fi connectivity to connect their mobile phone to the Internet via a wireless network connection via a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Z6w supports a mini USB connection & Bluetooth® wireless technology which allows the user to gain a cabled connection to other compatible devices or a wireless connection using the Bluetooth wireless technology. The Bluetooth® connection can be gained between compatible Bluetooth® devices which are up to ten metres apart which allows the user to transfer files at high speed wirelessly. The Bluetooth® comes with A2DP which allows the user to gain a wireless music experience on their Motorola Z6w. The phone supports EDGE technology will allows the user to experience high speed transfer rates which makes files transfers a quick & easy experience for the user of this sophisticated mobile phone. The Z6w comes with 64 megabytes of built in memory & the user has the option of extending the phones memory further by adding a MicroSD™ memory card. The phone works on a quad band network which provides worldwide network coverage but the coverage is fully dependant on the user's service provider.

This highly capable mobile phone comes with a built in camera feature which allows the user to snap a quick picture or record video footage using the 2 megapixel built in camera feature. The camera comes with easy to access settings & capture key. The user can view their picture or video record on the 2 Inch colour screen which works as a clear viewfinder when capturing the picture or video footage. The screen displays up to 262k colours on a 240 pixel by 320 pixel resolution screen. The screen can also display colourful screensaver & wallpapers. The user can even select one of their personal pictures which have been captured using the 2 megapixel camera feature as a personal & unique screensaver or wallpaper.

The Z6w comes with an email service which allows the user to send, receive, store & delete emails on their mobile phone. The user will never feel far away from friend, family or business colleagues with the built in messaging services. The user can take part in an instant messaging conversation as the Motorola Z6w supports a mobile instant messaging service which allows the user to chat to other compatible contacts that are online at the same time as the user. The instant messaging service is an online chat which can contain text & symbols. The Motorola Z6w also supports a text messaging service, enhanced messaging service & a multimedia messaging service which is known as MMS messaging. The MMS message can contain a picture of video recording & is a quick way for the user to share their latest pictures & video recordings with other compatible MMS users. The user can access the internet from the main menu which allows the user to access the WAP & Opera 8.5 Internet browser.

The Motorola Z6w mobile phone comes with a rechargeable battery which when fully charged will provide approximately 7 hours of talk time or approximately 400 hours of standby battery time but this is fully dependant on the built in features being used by the user as some features which use more battery life than other features. The phone comes with easy to use call features which include a conference call feature which allows the user to talk to more than one contact per call & a handsfree speaker phone which allows the user to take a call over the phones loud speaker for a handsfree call experience. The Motorola Z6w comes with a built in music player which supports popular music formats & the user can control their music using the easy to access keys. The music player supports MP3, AAC & AAC+ music files formats which the user can either download from the Internet via music store or transfer CD's via the user personal computer.
